Solorzano Put in Cooler, Hitless Against Philadelphia (DSL) Thursday, July 27th , 2028 It just wasn't Luis Solorzano's day. The Houston (DSL) Astros Blue took the 1-0 win today over the Philadelphia (DSL) Phillies Red, but the Phillies Red mound staff did what nobody else could -- they stopped the 23-game hitting streak of Astros Blue left fielder Luis Solorzano. "We might have focused a bit too much on stopping Solorzano," Philadelphia (DSL) manager Reinaldo Ruiz commented afterward. "He had a nice hitting streak going, but the Astros Blue have other hitters and they did their job today." This season Solorzano is batting .388 with 27 RBIs, 32 runs scored and 4 home runs. |
