Garza Batters Toronto (DSL) Big Time Wednesday, August 11th , 2032 Rodolfo Garza exploded for a barrage of base hits at Baseball City Complex. The Houston (DSL) catcher had a field day in his team's 15-6 triumph over the Toronto (DSL) Blue Jays, finishing 5-for-6. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Garza must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Rodolfo Garza hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, tripled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. For the season, Garza has hit .389 with 1 home run and 22 RBIs. He has played in 25 games and scored 19 times. View Boxscore |
