Mariners SS Torrico Gets the Cycle Wednesday, August 11th , 2032 Today at Seattle Mariners Complex, Seattle (DSL) Mariners shortstop Edgar Torrico accomplished a true baseball rarity, knocking a single, double, triple and a home run to hit for the cycle and lead the Mariners to a win, 16-8, over the Minnesota (DSL) Twins. In a standout performance, Torrico laced 5 hits in 6 at-bats and had 2 runs batted in. "I felt good before the game, I felt good during it, and I feel great now," Torrico told reporters. Edgar Torrico singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, tripled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Juan Longoria in the 8th.
