Guardians Blue Arredondo Smacks 5 Hits Monday, August 9th , 2032 Today at Cleveland Guardians Complex, Juan Arredondo put on an impressive display. The Cleveland (DSL) Guardians Blue catcher tagged Houston (DSL) pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but his teammates were unable to capitalize on the spree and lost the game to the Houston (DSL) Astros Orange by the score of 9-7. "The loss takes some of the joy out of it, but I'll take it," Arredondo said. "5-for-6 ain't bad in any league." Despite the terrific performance, the Guardians Blue manager was unwilling to offer the catcher much praise, saying the "whole roster" is held accountable for losses. "Juan told me 'Coach, I had 5 hits' and I said 'Well that's great, but it looks like we needed one more from you,'" manager Gerardo Soto said. Juan Arredondo hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, doubled in the 9th and singled in the 11th.
