Thursday, August 5th , 2032
Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Vicente Flores of the Philadelphia (DSL) Phillies White had one of those moments when he went 6-for-6 at the plate in his team's 14-12 win over the Philadelphia (DSL) Phillies Red at Philadelphia Phillies Academy.
"I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 18-year-old second baseman told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years."
Vicente Flores singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
Currently Flores is hitting .374 and has collected 5 home runs, 32 RBIs and scored 25 times, while playing in 34 games.
