Caudillo Has 37-Game Hitting Streak Monday, August 2nd , 2032 Win or lose, Julio Caudillo just keeps on getting base hits -- game after game after game. He picked up 1 more today and has now stretched his hitting streak to 37 games. The San Francisco (DSL) Giants Orange third baseman went 1-for-4, but it wasn't enough to win the game. His club was defeated, 15-8, by the Cincinnati (DSL) Reds at Felipe Rojas Alou Complex. "It's amazing to watch him hit right now, but I don't think anybody's really mentioning it," one of his teammates said. "We just don't want to jinx him." Julio Caudillo grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a sac fly in the 8th.
