Kwak on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Cincinnati (DSL)
Saturday, July 31st , 2032
It was a high-five day for Jun-ho Kwak, at least for a while.
The Kansas City (DSL) second baseman got plenty of them from his teammates when he reached the five-hit milestone during today's game against the Cincinnati (DSL) Reds, but they were in short supply at the end, as Cincinnati (DSL) won the game, 17-12. Kwak finished with an impressive 5-for-5 line, but the Royals Glass couldn't hold off the Reds.
"Jun-ho was hitting everything," said Royals Glass manager Jose Altuve. "It's too bad the other guys couldn't rise to the occasion."
Jun-ho Kwak singled in the 1st, was hit by a pitch in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Luis Carrasco in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Alexis Chauca in the 9th.
Hitting .442 to date, Kwak has 14 home runs and 57 RBIs. He has played in 30 games.
