Rowdy Players Suspended by League Wednesday, August 10th , 2033 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Chicago A (DSL)-Houston (DSL) contest at Houston Astros Blue Complex. The White Sox Luis de la Garza and the Astros Blue Humberto Silva will have to sit out 3 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. de la Garza currently has a .329 batting average with 78 hits, 7 homers, 54 RBIs, 63 runs scored and a .433 OBP. On the year, Silva has recorded 1 save with a 2-2 record over 30.1 innings. He has mowed down 18 batters on strikes and walked 25 with an ERA of 9.79. |
