Rosales on a Tear, Hits for Cycle Monday, August 8th , 2033 At Tower Complex, Luis Rosales led Detroit (DSL) to a win, 11-7, over the Toronto (DSL) Blue Jays by hitting for the cycle, one of baseball's more difficult feats. "Usually the triple is the hardest one to get, but I was most worried about the homer today because the ball wasn't carrying," Rosales said later. "When I took it deep, I was expecting the ball to die on the warning track, so it was sweet seeing the ump give me the signal to circle the bases." In addition to going 4-for-5, Rosales chalked up 4 RBI and scored 2 runs in an exceptional performance. Luis Rosales struck out in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Alexis Ortega in the 7th and tripled in the 8th.
