Aurelius Hit Streak Reaches 42 Games Monday, August 11th , 2031 David Aurelius of the Milwaukee (DSL) Brewers 2 extended his hitting streak to 42 straight games with 2 hits in today's 11-7 triumph over the Colorado (DSL) Rockies 1 at Tower Complex. "David has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Brewers 2 manager Warner Madrigal joked after the game. David Aurelius hit an RBI double in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. So far this season, Aurelius is hitting .518 with 3 home runs. |
