Astros Orange Pitching Ravaged by Malave Sunday, August 10th , 2031 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Pittsburgh (DSL)'s 23-11 win over Houston (DSL), shortstop DeMario Malave was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Pittsburgh Pirates Complex. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Malave said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." DeMario Malave singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and flied out in the 8th.
