5 Hits for Red Sox Trejo
Thursday, June 26th , 2031
Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Boston (FCL)'s 16-3 win over Pittsburgh (FCL), center fielder David Trejo was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at JetBlue Park.
"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Trejo said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close."
David Trejo hit a solo-shot off Josh Ross in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Frank Alvarado in the 8th.
Thus far this year, Trejo has hit .264 with 2 home runs and 4 RBIs.
