Hartman Shuts Down Pelicans, 2-0
Friday, May 13th , 2033
"That was one of my best outings," said Joe Hartman. "I was worried a lot in the bullpen. My ball wasn't quite right. Luckily, it can be two different worlds -- the bullpen and the game. Once I stepped on the field, it all fell into place."
It was an impressive start for the GreenJackets hurler. He blanked the Pelicans, 2-0, on a strong 4-hitter while ringing up 6 strikeouts and doling out no walks.
Hartman has made 5 starts, tossed 39.2 innings, struck out 28 batters and walked 7. His record is 3-1 with a 1.59 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .164 batting average.
