Woodpeckers Flores Lost for Year Friday, July 22nd , 2033 Edgar Flores will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Fayetteville second baseman could miss the remainder of the year. Flores was injured while running the bases in the Woodpeckers-Mudcats clash at Five County Stadium recently. Doctors said he has a torn meniscus and would be out a minimum of 4 months. This season, Flores is batting .300 with 12 hits, no home runs, 1 RBIs, 2 walks, .341 OBP and has scored 1 run. He has played in 10 games. |
