Rumble Ponies Smith and Sea Dogs Garcia Suspended for Fight Friday, September 22nd , 2028 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Binghamton-Portland contest at NYSEG Stadium. The Rumble Ponies D'Andre Smith and the Sea Dogs Jogly Garcia will have to sit out 6 and 12 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This season Smith is batting .301 with 23 RBIs, 23 runs scored and 7 home runs. Garcia has made 23 relief appearances this year and notched 2 saves. To date in 70.1 innings he has a 5-5 record, 4.86 ERA with 44 strikeouts and 26 walks. |
