Heath, Calderone Suspended for Fracas Tuesday, April 26th , 2033 Chris Heath of Sacramento and Joe Calderone of Oklahoma City were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Heath will have to miss 5 games for his part in the brawl, while Calderone was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. Heath has collected 23 hits for the River Cats this year, 2 of them home runs. He has also netted 17 RBIs and scored 13 runs while batting .271. For this year, Calderone has chalked up 2 wins and 1 loss in 5 starts with 21 strikeouts in 31 innings and a 3.77 ERA. |
