20-Game Hitting Streak for Mastro Tuesday, July 22nd , 2031 Salt Lake lost to the Oklahoma City Dodgers, 3-1, at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, but Eric Mastro kept his consecutive-game hitting streak alive with 1 hit. The Bees second baseman has now delivered hits in 20 straight games. "Eric has a nice streak going, but the scoreboard tells the important story today," Salt Lake manager Oswaldo Mairena told reporters after the game. "We lost, no matter how many hits anyone had." Eric Mastro grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and singled in the 9th. On the year, Mastro has hit .295 with 11 home runs, 41 RBIs and scored 35 runs. |
