The San Francisco (DSL) Giants 1 pitcher went the distance, rang up 11 strikeouts, walked 2 and held the Nationals to 5 hits to garner the win. "He just had us in his thrall," Washington (DSL) manager Mauricio Gonzalez said later. "We couldn't put anything together against him." This year Cabrera has compiled a 3-2 mark with a 3.45 ERA.
