Manjarrez Smacks 3 Out of the Park Monday, July 17th , 2028 Angel Manjarrez was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 14-4 Oakland (DSL) Athletics triumph at Juan Marichal Complex today. The 23-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Athletics past the Atlanta (DSL) Braves. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Manjarrez told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The catcher went 3-for-4, rung up 7 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day. Angel Manjarrez grounded out in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Raul Fernandez in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Rogelio Moraga in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Rogelio Moraga in the 6th and walked in the 8th. Manjarrez's current batting average stands at .313 and he has chalked up 7 home runs and 29 RBIs. |
