Reds End Toscano's Streak Wednesday, July 5th , 2028 The 23-game hitting streak of Edelberto Toscano has come to an end. The Oakland (DSL) Athletics right fielder went 0-for-3 today in his team's 5-3 loss to the Cincinnati (DSL) Reds at Juan Marichal Complex. "It's not just Edelberto who came up short today," Athletics manager Mario Lisson said in his postgame press conference. "This was a team loss." This year Toscano is batting .452 with 15 home runs and 42 RBIs. |
