Rexes Cracks 3 HR for Brewers Wednesday, July 5th , 2028 It was a good day for the Milwaukee (DSL) Brewers and an exceptional one for Mario Rexes. The 22-year-old shortstop sent three bombs out of the park to help the Brewers beat the Detroit (DSL) Tigers 1 10-4 at Detroit Tigers Complex. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Rexes said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 7 runs and smacked 3 hits in 4 at-bats. Mario Rexes grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Marco Ballesteros in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Alex Lomas in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Alex Morales in the 9th. So far this year Rexes is batting .378 with 13 home runs, 42 RBIs and 33 runs scored. |
