Rivadeneira Strokes 5 Hits Thursday, June 8th , 2028 It seemed that Baltimore (DSL) third baseman Juan Rivadeneira could do no wrong as the Orioles 2 KO'd the Rangers 1, 14-13 today. Rivadeneira rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Rangers 1 hurlers were throwing. "I think the Orioles 2 were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Texas (DSL) fan after the game. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Rivadeneira in the postgame press interview. Juan Rivadeneira hit a two-run home run off Sergio Miranda in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Melvin Diaz in the 8th. Presently Rivadeneira is batting .636 and has collected 4 home runs, 11 RBIs, .667 OBP and scored 8 runs. View Boxscore |
