Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Rivadeneira Sunday, July 25th , 2027 Juan Rivadeneira collected 1 hit in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. His club, the Baltimore (DSL) Orioles 2, beat the Cleveland (DSL) Indians 2 2-1. "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball," Rivadeneira quipped to a BNN reporter after the game. "I'm excited about how things are clicking." Juan Rivadeneira flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Mario Lorena in the 3rd, flied out in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. Thus far this season in 44 games Rivadeneira is batting .352 with 4 home runs, 28 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has 64 hits in 182 at-bats. |
