Dillon Goes 5-for-5
Monday, August 28th , 2028
Even as a kid, Josh Dillon said his coaches told him the key to hitting was making contact, and letting everything else flow from there. At Centene Stadium today, Dillon showed how well he learned that lesson.
The 22-year-old second baseman had 5 hits in 5 at-bats for the Great Falls Voyagers, helping his team knock off the Idaho Falls Chukars by a score of 10-9.
"They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did today."
Josh Dillon singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
A look at his current stats shows Dillon with a .351 average, 12 home runs, 45 RBIs and 55 runs scored. He has played in 56 games.
