Great Day for Burnsed -- 5 Hits Saturday, July 8th , 2028 It was a high-five day for C.J. Burnsed, at least for a while. The Idaho Falls second baseman got plenty of them from his teammates when he reached the five-hit milestone during today's game against the Missoula PaddleHeads, but they were in short supply at the end, as Missoula took a 6-5 win. Burnsed finished with an impressive 5-for-6 line, but the Chukars couldn't hold off the PaddleHeads. "C.J. was hitting everything," said Chukars manager Jose Alguacil. "It's too bad the other guys couldn't rise to the occasion." C.J. Burnsed struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, doubled in the 11th and singled in the 14th.
