Billings's Rivera Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Wednesday, June 28th , 2028 No matter what the Idaho Falls Chukars threw at him today, Ervin Rivera hit it. He easily handled Chukars pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Mustangs to a 14-1 triumph at Dehler Park. "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Rivera's quip, Chukars skipper Jose Alguacil said he "would take him up on that next time." Ervin Rivera doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
