Mets End Malone's Streak Monday, August 28th , 2028 The 25-game hitting streak of Shane Malone has come to an end. The Houston (GCL) Astros shortstop went 0-for-4 today in his team's 2-1 loss to the New York N (GCL) Mets at Clover Park. "It's not just Shane who came up short today," Astros manager Victor Estevez said in his postgame press conference. "This was a team loss." Malone is currently batting .309 with no home runs and 13 RBIs. |
