AZL Most Valuable Player Award Goes To Kusak

The future looks extremely bright for Mike Kusak. At the age of 25, many players are still trying to find their way in Arizona Rookie League.
Kusak has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Arizona Rookie League Most Valuable Player Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .344 this year, that's for sure," the center fielder said.
The San Diego (AZL) Padres 1 star also put up a .490 on-base percentage this year, with 67 hits, 8 doubles, 1 triple, 25 home runs, 58 RBIs and 52 runs scored.
He received 10 first place votes out of a possible 21. Tony Iglesias of the Oakland (AZL) Athletics Green finished second in voting with 10 first place votes, while Jared Tilley of the San Diego (AZL) Padres 2 finished third.
