San Diego (AZL) Takes Round 2 in Deciding Game Wednesday, September 13th , 2028 After their 4-3 win today over the San Diego (AZL) Padres 1, the San Diego (AZL) Padres 2 will advance to the Round 3. Despite coming out on the losing side, the series MVP award went to San Diego (AZL) first baseman Jose Rodriguez. Rodriguez told a reporter from the San Diego (AZL) Bulletin that he was disappointed in the loss, and hopes to be back next year competing for the Round 3 San Diego (AZL) won the series 3-2. The San Diego (AZL) Padres 2 don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Oakland (AZL) Athletics Green - Oakland (AZL) Athletics Gold series.
