Tran Smacks 5 Hits for Rangers Saturday, August 28th , 2027 No matter what the Los Angeles N (AZL) Dodgers threw at him today, Daniel Tran hit it. He easily handled Dodgers pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Rangers to a 10-3 triumph at Surprise Stadium. "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Tran's quip, Dodgers skipper Jair Fernandez said he "would take him up on that next time." Daniel Tran singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th and hit an RBI single in the 7th.
