5-Hit Blitz by Bristol's Rath Sunday, July 9th , 2028 Players get multi-hit games all the time, but 5-hit games are something else entirely. Tim Rath walloped 5 hits in 6 at-bats for the Bristol Pirates in a career day at Devault Memorial Stadium today, but it was the Princeton Rays who won the ballgame, 8-6. "My swing was really, really there today," Rath said afterward. "I made some good, solid contact and when that happens, good things happen. And hey, 5-for-6 and losing is better than 0-for-6 and losing, right?" Tim Rath hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th, doubled in the 10th and singled in the 11th.
