At the age of 21, the Bluefield left fielder has been named the winner of the Appalachian League Most Valuable Player Award. He had a .342 batting average and a .387 on-base percentage this year. In 36 games he piled up 54 hits, 9 doubles, 3 triples, 1 home run, 38 RBIs and 20 runs scored. "I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said.
