Player of the Week: Perkins of the River Bandits Monday, August 21st , 2028 Mike Perkins of the Quad Cities River Bandits had an outstanding week and today was voted the Player of the Week by the Midwest League. For the week the 24-year-old first baseman batted .478 (11-for-23) with 3 home runs and 5 RBIs. Thus far this year Perkins has hit .268 with 16 home runs and 49 RBIs. |
