Mets Reliever Cops Pitching Award Friday, September 1st , 2028 Syracuse's Hunter Sanford put together one of the most consistent stretches of his career in August to earn the International League Pitcher of the Month trophy. Sanford was tough out of the pen, holding the opposition to a .176 batting average in 40 innings. For the month he had a 4-0 record, struck out 47 and collected no saves in no relief appearances. For the season Sanford has made no relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 10-7 won-lost mark and a 3.01 ERA. In pitching 149.1 innings, he has totaled 153 strikeouts and 27 walks. |
