San Francisco Takes Division Series in Deciding Game Thursday, October 12th , 2028 When the entire season comes down to one game, Oscar DeHarde said you find out what a team is really about. As it turns out, the San Francisco Giants are made of fight and tenacity, as the team got by the Pittsburgh Pirates 4-0 tonight at PNC Park in order to win the Division Series and book a place in the next round. "It wasn't hard to get excited for this game," said DeHarde, whose strong offensive output earned him MVP honors. "Our guys answered the call and proved a lot about what our team is all about." DeHarde hit .526 with a .571 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 9 RBI and scored 5 runs. The San Francisco Giants don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Miami Marlins - San Diego Padres series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The League Championship Series is scheduled to begin on October 13th , 2028.
