The End Is Here: Didi Gregorius Retires Wednesday, September 20th , 2028 Ending weeks of speculation, Didi Gregorius announced his retirement today. The Diamondbacks third baseman has been reportedly weighing the decision since last year, sources close to Gregorius say. "I'm not going to deny it's been a difficult decision," Gregorius said, speaking to the rumors, "but it's time. It took me a while to realize that, but it's time to leave the game." In his 1790-game career Gregorius has hit .268 with 1796 hits, 296 home runs, and 954 RBIs and has scored 902 runs. |
