Joe Bevans was dynamite at Five County Stadium, blowing away the Carolina Mudcats in a shutout victory. The Kannapolis Cannon Ballers starter had everything working as he held the Mudcats to 3 hits in the 5-0 win.

"He was pure nasty out there today," said Carolina skipper Marcus Jones. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."
