Indians Win, 4-0, as Pedroza Mystifies Everett
|
It wasn't easy but Jesus Pedroza made it look that way.
Pedroza silenced the Everett AquaSox, 4-0, in a Spokane Indians triumph at Avista Stadium. Despite the appearance of dominance, Pedroza said that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 1 walk and 2 hits.
"It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else."
Checking out his stats for the year, Pedroza has racked up 3 wins and 7 losses in 16 starts, posted a 2.72 ERA, and struck out 62 batters in 99.1 innings.
