Super Swinger -- LeBlanc Slams 5 Hits
A jubilant Danny LeBlanc joined the postgame press conference at Fitch Park to offer some unusual words of encouragement -- for the Oakland (ACL) Athletics pitching staff he had just vanquished.

"It may not have looked like it," said the San Francisco (ACL) Giants Orange third baseman, "but I saw some awful good pitches today. If luck hadn't been on my side it might have turned out a lot different."

That would not have been the conclusion of anyone who saw his dominant 5-for-6 hitting performance, which led to the 18-9 Giants Orange win.

"He made it look easy," said Cole Sturgeon, manager of the Athletics. "We never figured out what to do with him. Obviously."

Danny LeBlanc hit an RBI single in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
