Giants Clip Pirates 3-2 in DS Contest
The San Francisco Giants and the Pittsburgh Pirates will take the Division Series to a decisive 5th game. In a must-win situation today, the Giants beat the Pirates 3-2 at Oracle Park to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. San Francisco right-hander Stephen Strasburg had a big role in the win. He threw 6.0 innings allowing 2 runs.

Jordan Walker dealt the Pirates a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with the bases loaded and San Francisco trailing 1-0, Walker, who finished 5th in the NL in RBI with 111 last year, hit a 0-1 changeup for a bases-clearing double.

After the game, San Francisco manager applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.

Game 5 is scheduled for Thursday at PNC Park in Pittsburgh.
