The El Paso Chihuahuas are riding high after knocking off the Sacramento River Cats in the Round 1.

"We're feeling confident now and that's half the battle," said Sean Ross, who was named series MVP. "You play confidently, you play well and it shows up with results like this."

El Paso won the final game by a 7-0 count at Southwest University park and the series 3-1.

For the series, Ross hit .462 with a .462 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 1 runs.

The El Paso Chihuahuas don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Wichita Wind Surge - Nashville Sounds series. Nashville leads the series 2 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
