Savion Diosdado said his Texas (DSL) Rangers Red simply weren't ready for the season to come to an end.

"We told ourselves we were winning this series no matter what," he said, shortly after being named the Round 1 MVP, following a 13-12 win at Academia de Prospecto Complex that officially eliminated the Houston (DSL) Astros Orange, 4-2.

Diosdado said his team is "confident and ready" for the Round 2.

The Texas (DSL) Rangers Red will play against the Colorado (DSL) Rockies 1 in the next round. Colorado (DSL) won their series against the New York A (DSL) Yankees 1 4 games to 0. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
