Today at Cleveland Guardians Complex, Micker Adolfo put on an impressive display.

The Detroit (DSL) Tigers 2 right fielder tagged Cleveland (DSL) pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but his teammates were unable to capitalize on the spree and lost the game to the Cleveland (DSL) Guardians Blue by the score of 11-8.

"The loss takes some of the joy out of it, but I'll take it," Adolfo said. "5-for-6 ain't bad in any league."

Despite the terrific performance, the Tigers 2 manager was unwilling to offer the right fielder much praise, saying the "whole roster" is held accountable for losses.

"Micker told me 'Coach, I had 5 hits' and I said 'Well that's great, but it looks like we needed one more from you,'" manager Anthony Ferrari said.

Micker Adolfo flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.


Adolfo is hitting .460 this year with 17 home runs and 67 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .564, 30 walks and scored 48 times.
