Luis Castro exploded for a barrage of base hits at Colorado Rockies Complex.

The Arizona (DSL) center fielder had a field day in his team's 17-4 triumph over the Colorado (DSL) Rockies 2, finishing 5-for-6.

"My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch."

Castro must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Luis Castro singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, walked in the 8th, hit a three-run home run off David Pedregon in the 9th and hit a two-run triple in the 9th.

Castro is currently hitting at a .364 pace with 8 home runs, 27 RBIs and has scored 40 times.
