Rivera Torches Twins for 5 Hits
It was a parade of hits for Jesus Rivera of the Cincinnati (DSL) Reds at Minnesota Twins Academy.

Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Rivera finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Reds to a win, 10-8.

"Rivera was really good and we were really bad," groaned Twins manager Louis Boyd. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."

Jesus Rivera flied out in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Jorge Soto in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Jorge Checo in the 8th and doubled in the 10th.
