Ottolini Touches All Bases, Hits for Cycle
It was a special day for Germano Ottolini at Academia de Prospecto Complex. Not only did Ottolini's Texas (DSL) Rangers Red beat the New York N (DSL) Mets 1, 8-4, but the second baseman hit for the cycle along the way.

The 21-year-old Ottolini racked up 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to get his name in the record books. For the game, he went 4-for-4 with 2 runs batted in and 3 runs scored.

"He hit everything we threw," said Mets 1 manager John Tamargo Jr.. "There was just no getting him out today."

Speaking to the press after the game, Ottolini said his goal for the day had been to look for "first pitch fastballs."

"I got some good looks today," he said.

Germano Ottolini singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Eloy Salcedo in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, was hit by a pitch in the 7th and hit an RBI triple in the 8th.

In this current campaign Ottolini is hitting at a .496 clip with 4 home runs and 42 RBIs.
