Texas (DSL) second baseman Cláudio Elizalde had a big day at New York Mets Complex against the New York N (DSL) Mets 1. The 25-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 6-for-6 and led to the 19-5 Rangers Red triumph over New York N (DSL).

"Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Elizalde said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."

Cláudio Elizalde doubled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, doubled in the 7th, doubled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
