Hits Galore: Cepeda Drills 5 Hits
It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Julio Cepeda. Cepeda went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Minnesota (DSL) pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at New York Mets Complex, he had a 5-for-5 line and a day he will long remember. And the New York N (DSL) Mets 2 had a win, 19-10, over the Twins.

"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview.

Julio Cepeda doubled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 5th, was hit by a pitch in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.

At present, Cepeda is batting .750 and has collected no home runs, 4 RBIs, .800 OBP and scored 2 runs.
