Behind a solid performance from shortstop Anthony Graves, the Hawai'i State Mighty Io defeated the Univ. of the Bayou Crocs, 8-5. Graves went 2-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Mighty Io. Univ. of the Bayou has now lost 5 consecutive games.

Hawai'i State used the hitting of Fumikazu Kobayashi to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Mighty Io on top, 5-2. For the game, Kobayashi had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We're not exactly playing great right now," said Charles Bronson, the Univ. of the Bayou manager.
