Rivermen Advance to Final
Jon Moulder said he couldn't let his team's season come to an end while he was standing on the mound.

The starting pitcher propelled his Sequoyah National Rivermen to a 2-1 win over the Forest City College Lakers in the Regional Final at Conquistadors Ballpark and they are now off to the Final.

"I told myself I needed to step up and that my team was counting on me," Moulder said. "When you've got all your teammates relying on you, you've got to come through in a big way."

The starting pitcher certainly did come through, as he led the team to victory with 7 innings pitched, with 8 strikeouts, while allowing 6 hits, 1 walk and 1 run.


The Final matchups and schedule will be announced after the Regional Final finishes.
